Hotline Ring Raised Over $215,000!
Because of the generous support, the arts community in Pittsburgh can continue to uplift the voices and stories of queer, Black, and people of color artists, performers, and neighbors. In total, we raised over $215,000 in support!
Hotline Ring was a night to remember, full of dancing, celebration, activism, and most of all, the joy that comes from being a change-maker. Like writer Emma Goldman once said, “If I can’t dance, I don’t want to be a part of your revolution.”
Collaboratively hosted by leaders from the collective organizations that are all in community with or led by queer, Black, people of color, including 1Hood Media, BOOM Concepts, Braddock Carnegie Library Association, Dreams of Hope, The Legacy Arts Project, PearlArts Studios, and Kelly Strayhorn Theater, the program featured live performances, testimonials, special guests, and fun moments, like the interpretative dance beer tasting. You had to see it to believe it!
You can still watch the full recording of the event, as well as learn more about the guests and donate to the Collective, at kst.imagebox.dev/hotlinering.
